Beth is pictured here as a first freshener due to forgetting to get her photo when she freshened in 2006.  Beth is a real powerhouse of a doe with a lot of width and dairyness.  She's got such loose pliable skin that it actually hangs from her neck in a dewlap. According to the appraiser her mammary score would have been much better if "she remembered to milk".  I feel that is my fault for drying her off very early in lactation as a first freshener.

2008 update - sadly we lost Beth just a day after freshening.  I didn't even have a chance to take a photo of her much improved mammary this year.  She will be missed.
