Joey is a very long tall doe with wonderful general appearance and dairy character.  As she has aged her body capacity just gets better and better.  Joey suffered a bad case of mastitis during the transition period of the Rice Patch herd to our farm and unfortunately it did damage her udder.  Sadly, her linear score reflects this permanent damage.  She is a wonderful brood doe however and dam of Ears who has had a great influence in the younger does.

2008 update: Sadly, we lost Joey after an internal rupture when we had the local university vet out to help with a difficult birthing.  We have two granddaughters in the herd to carry on in her place.
